    1. Rachael says:

It’s actually in how your body digests it. It turns alkaline once in your body and blah blah blah, something very scientific and beyond me, but it does help your body’s Ph balance.

    2. Mike says:

I’ve read that not only Lemons but other acid fruits turn alkaline in the body. I know, seems counter intuitive.

I like cold drinks. Can I drink this lemon water cold or does it have more benefits drinking it warm?

    1. Tiniki says:

It is better when it is warm because it help you burn more fat then cold water because it freezing your fat
Example when you wash dishes with cold water and it has grease in it does the Greece comes out or does it still have grease in it then you use hot water when you are washing dish and the grease comes out with one wash

      1. Margaret says:

I thought cold increases your metabolism as it works harder to adjust.

    Make marmalade
    Make lemon zest
    Soften my skin
    Remove grease from dishes

Now, I will blend it with the juice to make my daily warm or cold lemon drink

    what about tooth enamel?

    1. Barry says:

Some suggest to drink through a straw and rinse your mouth afterwards.

    2. Tammy says:

Finally someone asking about tooth enamel. The citric acid in lemons is very bad for your tooth enamel over time. It is actually better to drink lemon water with the grated lemon peels and not the juice. The lemon rind is better for you anyway. I now use pure Essential lemon oil in my water rather than the juice from lemons. The oil is extracted from the peels. Just be sure the oil is 100% lemon oil and hasn’t been watered down in production. The Essential oil line is 100% lemon oil,no water added. Only takes one drop in a glass of water.

  7. Tiniki says:

It just better to drink lemon water hot because it burns more fat than cold water because cold water freezes your fat here is a
Example: when you wash dishes with cold water and it has grease in it does it come out or does it still has grease in it and when you use hot water to wash dishes and the pot has grease in it too the grease would come out and it wouldn’t feel so greasy anymore this is how I can explain it

  8. Dayita Sengupta says:

I boil whole lemons, ginger and garlic and then make a paste by using blender. Then keep it in the freezer and take some portion of it everyday with warm water in empty stomach. Is it beneficial to health? And will i continue or give some rest period?

  9. Catherine Livingston says:

I always brush my teeth right after my warn lemon water in the morning, so as not to have my tooth enamel break down.

    1. Preet Pal says:

The citric acid softens the enamel. If you brush it or drink anything hot, it removes away the softened enamel. So, never drink or eat anything hot, or brush your teeth immediately after taking lemon drink, or curd, or anything acidic.

  10. Maria says:

Brushing your teeth right after drinking lemon assists the process of removing enamel. AJust rinse well with regular clean clear water.

You people are making me crazy..in a nice way. Im so confused. Hot lemon cold lemon, lemon peels, tooth enamel…
