For All Chinese Food Lovers: Chicken and Chinese Egg Noodles

If you are looking for an easy traditional Chinese meal, we have the best recipe for you. Try the chicken and Chinese egg noodles with bean sprouts, bell peppers and carrots. It’s done under 30 minutes.

Here is the recipe for 4 servings:


  • 10 ounces Chinese egg noodles
  • sesame oil
  • 2  canola oil
  • 2 chicken breasts (sliced thinly)
  • 1 red bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1  minced ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup lite soy sauce
  • cornstarch
  • oyster sauce
  • 1  vegetable oil
  • 1 carrot (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup onion (sliced)
  • 1/2 cup cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 cup bean sprouts


Cook the noodles within the instructions of the package. Drain the noodles and toss them with sesame oil in a bowl to coat. Then, heat canola oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken breasts for about 4 minutes until cooked through. Remove from the pan and add in the red bell peppers, ginger and garlic and cook them for about 1-2 minutes. Stir frequently.

Add in the water, soy sauce, cornstarch, vegetable oil and oyster sauce into the skillet. Then, add in the carrot, onion and cabbage and cook for about 2 minutes, before adding back in the chicken and egg noodles. Add in the bean sprouts, and toss everything well.
