8 Foods That Flush Out Nicotine From Your Body

According to the recent national research, approximately 6 million people in the world lose their lives due to smoking cigarettes. On the other hand, it seems that more and more people are getting addicted to this nasty habit. Actually, the nicotine is the one responsible for your addiction.

What is nicotine and why is addictive?

Nicotine is an alkaloid that can be found in certain plants. It has acaricidal and insecticidal properties which protect plants from insects. This substance is not what our body needs. When nicotine is inhaled it goes directly in the lungs and then into the bloodstream. As a result of that it elevates the blood pressure and heart rate, lowers appetite, and releases a shot of adrenaline, serotonin and dopamine.

When we smoke cigarettes, the nicotine enters into the blood and it goes straight into the brain. Then an adrenaline and dopamine are being released, hormones of pleasure and euphoria. Because of this the smoker has the need for another cigarette.

When the smoker decides to quit smoking, he may have headaches, irritability, and even depression. Even after you quit smoking the nicotine still stays in the body for longer period of time. Fortunately, there are some ways that can help you to cleanse your body from the toxins.

I love it that you are taking a natural approach to support people in their becoming Smokefree.
I have many years experience as a Stop Smoking Clinician. I most respectful request that you make it clear in this (otherwise great) article, that it is not the Nicotine that is responsible for the pictured lung damage. It is the damages of the Carbon Monoxide, tar and over 4000 toxic chemicals.
It is very important that people who smoke are not alienated against Nicotine carte blanche as Nicotine Replacement Therapy is so very well proven to help people stop smoking.
Sure, Nicotine is responsible for the addiction but, in its own properties, it is not responsible for the lung damage.
